Most Individuals offer great advice to their friends but are their own worst critic. This workshop focuses on raising awareness about the inner critic and how to be kind to yourself and replace the critic with a positive inside voice.

Each workshop offers a solutions-based approach alongside practical tools to help participants. This fun, interactive workshop raises self reflection questions about how we speak to ourselves and outlines the tools and actions needed to help us speak positively to ourselves and become a good friend to ourselves.

Become a Changemaker

Individuals attending the workshop will develop a greater understanding of they currently speak to themselves and how to make it more positive and supportive. The workshop focuses on improving awareness of  actions, surroundings and intentionally reflects on how to be kind to one's self. The participants will also learn problem solving tools.

Practical Tools and Strategies 

The interactive, solutions-based approach alongside practical tools provides individuals with tangible strategies and tools to apply at school, at work, and at home. It helps us realize that while circumstances and some experiences may be out of our control, how we speak to ourselves and having a positive internal voice is a learnt skill.

Sana Farid

Sana Farid is a Conflict Transformation Practitioner. Sana has a Master’s in Peace Studies with a focus on Conflict Transformation from the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana. Sana has over fifteen years of experience working with children and youth across North America.
